Inside

The whole hospital, one room at a time.

Not a stock gallery. This is the building on Hall Professional Center, the exam room your dog will stand in, and the suite where the surgery actually happens.

The front

100 Hall Professional Center

Limestone, a live oak over the lot, and a sign at the road with all six doctors' names on it. If you have driven Kyle Parkway you have passed it.

The exam room

Where most of it happens

Oak cabinets, a wall-mounted otoscope, and enough floor for a dog who would rather stand than get on a table. Cats get the low-stress handling a Cat Friendly practice is trained for.

The surgical suite

A stainless table and a monitor on every patient

Overhead surgical light, anesthesia machine, autoclave, dental unit, and the anesthesia monitoring chart taped to the wall. Spays, dentals, soft-tissue and orthopedic work all happen in this room.

Full pediatric care: exams, vaccines, parasite prevention, microchipping, nutrition and behavior. Early visits are also how a young animal learns this building is not frightening.

The waiting

Seven in the morning to eight at night

Weekday hours most practices do not keep, which is the difference between taking a day off work and coming in before it or after it.

Cat Friendly Certified

A certification from the Feline Veterinary Medical Association, not a slogan. Specific training in feline handling and in the environmental changes that let a cat come off the defensive.

What we do

Seventeen services. One building, one record, one team.

Preventive care through advanced imaging and surgery, all under the same roof in Kyle. Nothing here gets referred out that does not need to be.

The roster

You are not going to see “our team” here. You are going to see who.

Six veterinarians, the year each of them started practicing, and the school each of them came from. Their names are already on the sign at the road. This is the same list, in the same order, with the part that matters attached.

Before you come in

What people ask us on the phone.

Yes. We provide full pediatric wellness care, including exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, microchipping, nutrition guidance and behavior support. Early visits set a pet up for a lifetime of good health, and they are also how a young animal learns that this building is not a frightening place.

Dogs, cats and certain exotic species. If you are not sure whether we see your particular pet, call us at (512) 268-5003 and ask. Our team would rather answer that question than have you guess.

Yes. Kyle Animal Hospital is Cat Friendly Certified, which means our staff has specific training in feline handling, low-stress technique and the environmental accommodations that help a cat feel safe. It is a certification by the Feline Veterinary Medical Association, not a slogan.

Both. We have digital X-ray, and most results are available during the same visit. We also perform abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms here in the clinic, which means we can assess organ health and cardiac function without referring your pet somewhere else.

We do. Our in-house laboratory runs bloodwork, urinalysis, parasite screenings and other diagnostics, so we get timely answers and can often start treatment during the same visit.

Yes. We take a proactive approach to geriatric care with customized plans for degenerative joint disease and other age-related conditions. Those plans can include pain management, mobility support, nutritional adjustments, diagnostic screenings and regular monitoring.

Yes. Our veterinarians evaluate lameness, joint pain, mobility changes and suspected injuries, combining a thorough exam with diagnostic imaging to build a treatment plan around your pet's comfort and long-term mobility.

Request one through the form on our contact page, or call us at (512) 268-5003. For anything urgent, please call. Our team can triage over the phone far faster than a form can reach us.

We partner with VetTriage. Their veterinarians are on standby 24 hours a day, and for a small fee you are connected on a live video session. They will triage your animal, give at-home guidance, and if emergency care is needed they coordinate your visit with the nearest emergency hospital.

We take credit cards and cash, and we partner with CareCredit and Scratchpay. CareCredit offers flexible financing on purchases of $200 or more, subject to credit approval. Scratchpay is not a credit card and has no deferred interest or surprise fees. On pet insurance: we are not able to file claims on your behalf, but we will gladly provide detailed invoices and medical records so you can seek reimbursement.

Tell us what your pet is doing. We will tell you whether it can wait.

New clients are welcome and we are taking them. Anything urgent is better on the phone than in a form, because somebody here can usually tell you in a minute whether your animal needs to be seen today, later this week, or not at all.

New clients get $25 off a first exam. And if you send a friend our way, the Fur-iends 25/25 program puts $25 toward future care for both of you.

One family, five pets

We have had 5 (7 including our besties frenchies) pets treated by all the Vets at Kyle Animal Hospital. We sing their praises everywhere we go. Knowledgeable, compassionate and fair; never upcharging, which could be easy bc our pugs are our everything.
