About Kyle Animal Hospital

Six veterinarians. One address. One record for your pet.

Kyle Animal Hospital sits at 100 Hall Professional Center, and the monument sign out front lists every doctor on staff by name. That is not decoration. It is the most honest thing a veterinary practice can put on a sign, because “who is actually going to see my dog” is usually the real question underneath the one an owner types into a search bar. The answer here is six people, not a rotating cast: Dr. Guy Mathews, practicing since 1996, and Dr. Ankur Gupta, since 2011, are both Medical Directors. Dr. Dana Greenleaf, Dr. Jennifer Chapin, Dr. Sarah Grose and Dr. Cord Offermann round out the roster, with start years going back to 2003. You can read all six bios and see exactly who you would be talking to.

This is also a Cat Friendly Certified practice, a designation from the Feline Veterinary Medical Association that is earned rather than claimed. It means the staff has specific training in feline handling, low-stress technique and the environmental details, quiet rooms, careful carrier handling, pacing that suits a cat instead of rushing it, that let a genuinely frightened animal come off the defensive. If your cat has ever needed to be pried out of a carrier in a waiting room, this is the part of the practice built to prevent that.

The hospital also keeps its own diagnostics on site: an in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, and ultrasound that covers both abdominal imaging and echocardiograms. Most lab and imaging results come back during the same visit rather than after a referral and a second appointment somewhere else, and a cardiac ultrasound performed here instead of sent out is not a small thing for an older dog with a new murmur.

Weekday hours run 7 AM to 8 PM, with Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Sunday closed. That is a longer window than most small-animal practices keep, and it exists for the same reason the roster does: it is easier to get a pet seen before or after a workday than to take one off. The hospital also runs a low-cost community vaccine clinic, the same one advertised on the banner across the building, so a family working with a tight budget still has a way to keep a pet current.

None of this is a promise made in the abstract. It is reflected in 1,088 Google reviews averaging 4.8 out of 5, a review base large enough that it is describing a pattern rather than a good week. See what the hospital treats, how payment and financing work, or just get in touch.

Inside

A real surgical suite, not a spare room with a table in it.

Stainless table, overhead surgical light, an anesthesia machine and an autoclave, a dental unit, and an anesthesia-monitoring chart taped to the wall for every patient under sedation. This is where the spays and neuters, dentals, soft-tissue work and orthopedic cases happen, with pre-anesthetic bloodwork and continuous monitoring built into the process rather than treated as an upsell.

Cat Friendly Certified

Certified by the Feline Veterinary Medical Association.

The certification covers training in feline-specific handling and a low-stress approach that runs through a visit end to end, not just the exam itself. Dr. Dana Greenleaf, one of the six doctors here, is described by the practice as a dedicated feline advocate. If a cat carrier has ever been the hardest part of a vet visit, that is exactly the piece this certification is built around.
